LOVELY, ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ERA, 14K YELLOW GOLD, PUFFY REPOUSSE FLORAL / YIN & YANG DESIGNED, PHOTO / MOURNING LOCKET, NECKLACE PENDANT / POCKET WATCH FOB NO PERSONAL MONOGRAMS OR ENGRAVINGS, MEASURES 3/4" IN DIAMETER x 1/4" THICK, TOTAL WEIGHT OF 6.1 GRAMS. Shows typical wear from use and storage, including light surface marks, scratches, and a few light dents. It has been gently hand polished and ultrasonic cleaned in a mild dish soap, and it has nice shine and is very clean. It is straight, not bent, cover opens and closes securely, has no personal monograms or engravings, comes with the original soldered shut bail, with no major issues at all.

It is very nicely done in a repousse flower motif in a yin & yang style design setting on both the front and back. The top cover is thinner than the rest of the piece and makes us believe it could have been used as a mourning locket for a photo on the top and a relic beneath that.

Like most Victorian era fine jewelry made in this period, it is not hallmarked anywhere that we can see by a maker / artist or a metal purity. We did perform a stone and acid test and it holds very strongly at 14K. This is beautiful, very collectible piece if you collect fine Victorian era jewelry or are looking for a similar piece to add to a necklace or an antique pocket watch, like an Elgin, Hamilton, or Waltham.
