The pearls I believe are baroque or sea pearls as they have a more natural shape. Beautiful antique patina to the gold. The setting has a closed back. It looks similar to Daphne's engagement ring for all the Bridgerton fans out there. Antique Box in photos is not included.
The dealer that I bought it from told me it was 15k. I don't have a 15k test but it tested reliably at 14k. All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. Under magnification there are some scuffs to the surface of the emerald, but it is a very small stone so it is not visible to the naked eye.The old pearls have slightly shapes which I think adds to its authentic antique look, they are still shiny and iridescent with beautiful colors of iridescent cream to gray. They have a nice sheen and are not dull or scuffed on the surface. I don't see any nicks or chips even under magnification to the pearls.
The band is in beautiful shape considering age with no bends or misshapen areas. It does have some faint surface scratches from wear. It is still nicely shaped and all the stones feel secure. Very sweet piece from a very special era.
