HUGE ANTIQUE 18k GOLD MOURNING RING James. Pearson. Ob. 26. Mar. 1804. AE34
An unusually large, supremely high quality mourning ring in lovely condition - Memorializes the death of a bachelor (white enameling was used for children and unmarried souls) with the words James. Written in gold on the black and white enameled band. This is a substantial ring in a US size 7. Absolutely no condition problems in excellent condition for it's age.... Plaited hair of the dearly departed behind crystal set into a gold bezel. Pictures tell the story but don't do the ring justice.
