Rare Novelty Georgian 9ct Gold Purse Bag Shaped Mourning Locket Pendant. A true Georgian period novelty shaped locket pendant. Designed in the form of a purse or bag with chain strapping and fine engraved finish to each side. One side holds a locket containing hair and the other with cartouche engraved A. 9 carat yellow gold example. CONDITION ; Very good for age. SIZE ; 14mm x 17mm approx without chain. HALLMARKS ; none, tests as 9ct.
